Morphological Analysis

Morphological Analysis is a structured creativity and problem-solving method developed by Swiss astrophysicist Fritz Zwicky in the 1940s. The technique decomposes a complex problem into its key dimensions or parameters, lists all possible values for each dimension, then systematically explores combinations across the matrix. Originally developed to analyse all possible jet engine configurations, it has since been applied to product design, scenario planning, policy analysis, and strategic planning to ensure the solution space is comprehensively mapped rather than explored heuristically.
