DeepSeek to Word

DeepSeek did the maths. Keep it as maths in Word.

DeepSeek answers are often heavy on equations, and equations are what break first when you paste into Word. Paste here instead, and export a .docx with every formula as a real, editable Word equation.

Copied from DeepSeek, pasted into Word
$$\int_0^1 x^2 \, dx = \frac{1}{3}$$

$$\sum_{i=1}^{n} i = \frac{n(n+1)}{2}$$
In Word: equations you can click into and edit

∫01x2 dx = 13

Σi=1ni = n(n+1)2

From DeepSeek to a .docx in five steps

  1. Copy the final answer

Use the copy button under DeepSeek’s answer. If DeepThink was on, take the answer itself, not the reasoning shown above it — that is working, not the deliverable.

  2. Open the web editor

Go to mindmax.me/write. A blank document is ready; there is nothing to install and no sign-up.

  3. Paste

Maths written between \( \) and \[ \] is converted as it comes in, so derivations show as typeset equations rather than lines of backslashes.

  4. Check the working

Read the derivation as maths, the way your reader will. A wrong sign is much easier to spot in a typeset equation than in raw LaTeX.

  5. Export Word

Click Export Word at the top right. Every equation lands as a native Word equation; Export PDF is beside it.

A derivation, not a screenshot of one

The usual workaround for maths is a screenshot. It looks right until a supervisor asks you to change one term, or a co-author needs to reuse a line.

  • Each equation is converted into Word’s own equation format, so it can be selected, edited and copied in Word like any equation typed there.
  • Fractions, roots, sums, integrals and Greek letters come across as maths, not as text approximations.
  • In the PDF export, the whole derivation is typeset exactly as you see it in the editor.

Everything else in the answer comes too

Tables

Comparison tables become Word tables with editable cells.

Code

Code blocks keep monospace layout and highlighting.

Headings and lists

Numbered steps, bullets and heading levels carry over as Word structure.

Diagrams

Mermaid diagrams in the answer are drawn and placed as pictures.

Where it gets hard

  • The document lives in this browser

Nothing is uploaded to edit or export. Clearing this site’s data or switching browsers means it is not there — export what you want to keep.

  • Maths that will not typeset stays visible as code

An equation with a LaTeX mistake in it — an unclosed brace, a command that does not exist — cannot be converted. It shows as an error in the editor, so you see it before you export rather than after.

  • Multi-line blocks are flattened in Word

An aligned derivation, a cases block or a matrix comes into Word as one line, row after row. The PDF keeps the layout. For Word, give each step of a derivation its own displayed equation.

  • The reasoning is not the answer

With DeepThink on, the copy button under the answer gives you the answer. If you also want the reasoning in the document, copy it separately and paste it where you want it.

  • Export goes one way

Edits made later in the .docx do not come back here. Finish, then export.

Common questions

Why do DeepSeek equations turn into \( \) and backslashes in Word?

DeepSeek writes maths in LaTeX between \( \) for inline and \[ \] for displayed equations. The chat window typesets it; Word only sees the characters. Pasting into the MindMax web editor converts those brackets and typesets the maths, and Export Word turns each equation into a native Word equation.

Are the equations pictures?

No. They are Word equations, editable in Word’s equation editor. In a PDF export they are typeset as text, not as images.

Does it cost anything?

No. Pasting, editing and exporting to Word or PDF are free, with no account and no watermark.

Is my answer uploaded?

Not to edit or export it. The document is kept in your browser and the Word file is built there.

Can I paste just a formula?

Yes. Paste a single equation between $$ and $$, or between \[ and \], and export as usual. For maths only, see LaTeX to Word.

Keep the maths. Hand over a Word file.
